Modern and beautiful interior design: The Printing House

Designed by workshop/ apd- the iconic, industrial building that anchors the West Village- The Printing House has been fully re-imagined from top to bottom, inside and out, as particularly modern, luxury residences by workshop/apd.
The original 1911 architecture is now infused with warm modernist character that respects and enhances the building’s industrious history. Sixty-four new residences – including loft-like 1-4 bedroom residences, light filled marionettes and brand new five-story townhouses with individual roof terraces and garden entrances – have been designed, with 15 fit ceilings, double-height living rooms and large-scale windows that maximize both natural light and downtown views. Without compromising its beauty or rich industrial lineage, the re-imagined Printing House respects the beauty and heritage of the industrial age, which brings warmth, vitality and excitement to the iconic West Village landscape.

From a historic coach house to spacious house by Zecc Architects

By Zecc Architects, a historic coach house annex stable from 1760 is converted into a spacious house. A mishmash of built curiosities from previous renovations is removed and by this way the historical elements and large spaces return.
The stable, still complete with hay racks, stone troughs and iron cast horse heads, is used as a living room. The original tack room is now the entrance hall and the coach house has been converted into a spacious kitchen. Some high stall doors reappeard after the demolition. This created a surprising connection between living room and kitchen. In this high inside dimension, a new stair is placed as a modern addition. The staircase has gotten special attention because of the central position in the coach house.
The exterior is made of mirror smooth stucco and the interior is entirely made of solid oak. The central placement made it the hub of the house, daylight falls from the roof into the new kitchen. Upstairs the double hood with rough wooden trusses determines the atmosphere. The staircase creates a connection between the second living room with fireplace.

Manipulating black and white colors to create beautiful house design

In monochrome design, people use only black and white to design and decorate their home. That kind of design brings people the feeling clean and tidy.
Besides, by monochrome your space will be more spacious. Monochrome is the inspiration of an apartment in the new Kiev Sryskriper by Olga Kulova. By the harmony in color: black and white, that house takes much of impression and love from people- who are interested in home design.
Designer share the ideas for this home:

"The main idea of this interior was to open a space for free living and to avoid closed areas. We decided to put the glass slide door between the living room and bedroom.
The apartment has two possible actions: to be open or to be separate. We made a private and public area. In the personal area we organised :  bedroom, wardrobe area and a master bathroom.  All of this areas are going one by one and created a long , long space. In the masters bathroom we make a outstanding sink from concrete and arranged the tap-tube above it.
The public area got the guestroom, the bar cabinet area, the entrance hall and the laundry room. The shape of that area is similar to the private part of the interior.
The long room with a long grey sofa, is supported with long metal bookshelves and two white islands: the kitchen island and the dinner table.  All of these shapes are landing on the dead white polumeric floor".

Cleaning your home quickly by some useful tips

When you ask your friend come to your home, you always want you are in a tidy space with beautiful and modern furniture.
But imagine thatyou’re currently standing on a living room floor full of children’s toys, cast off pillows, discarded backpacks and school books – and the rest of your home looks quite similar. Somehow you need to transform your home in half an hour or less – but how? Luckily, we’ve compiled a handy guide to speed cleaning.
Kitchen – Stack up all of the bills, magazines, junk mail and other clutter littering your kitchen counter and stick them in a drawer or cabinet for later sorting. Put your dirty dishes in the dish washer and rinse out your sink. Give it a quick spray and wipe to clean out any food debris. Then, spray and wipe down your counters, stove top and the fronts of your appliances to cut any grease and food splatter marks. Sweep as much of your kitchen floor as possible.
Bathroom – Choose the bathroom or powder room in your home where you’ll be directing your guest when they ask to use your restroom. Clean the toilet. Quickly spray and wipe down the mirror, countertops and fluff the hand towels and rugs.
Living Room/ Family Room – Grab a couple of empty baskets and toss all children’s toys into one and all other items strewn across the floor into another. Hide them in the closet to sort through and clean up later. Fluff the pillows and fold the throw blankets.
